| Description | The mouse IL13 (IL13) ELISA Kit quantitates mouse IL13 levels in multiple samples, including serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. IL-13 is a Th2 cytokine involved in effective repair after acute lung injury and the pathogenesis of chronic diseases such as allergic asthma. IL-13 induces hypersensitivity of the airways, augments mucous production, activates fibroblasts, elevates serum Ig E levels, and increases the number of eosinophils.
