Human CXCL16 ELISA Kit

CXCL16 is a highly conserved chemokine that has been found in all mammals. It is known to be a marker for the Th1 immune response. CXCL16 also has an inhibitory effect on TGF-beta1, which can cause cancerous tumors in mice when it is overproduced. CXCL16 is a chemokine ligand that plays a key role in the chemokine network. It functions as a marker for inflammation and has been used as a treatment for cancer. CXCL16 is expressed on monocytes and macrophages and it functions to mediate the migration of these cells to sites of inflammation. CXCL16 also has an important role in the differentiation of these cells into tissue-resident macrophages, which are responsible for tissue homeostasis.
