Human CXCL13 / BLC / BCA-1 ELISA Kit
B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), or CXCL13, is a protein that is secreted by T cells and binds to the CD4 receptor on B-cells. This protein has been shown to be involved in the activation of B cells, directing them to sites of inflammation. Furthermore, this protein has also been shown to be involved in the activation of dendritic cells, which are immune cells that present antigens from pathogens or damaged tissue to other immune cells like T-cells. BLC can be used as a marker for lymphoid tissue.
